BluesForever.org was created by musicians, historians, and lifelong Blues advocates who believe this music deserves to be heard, shared, and preserved through active performance and community involvement.
Following the closing of the National Blues Museum in St. Louis, the collective musical energy and friendships built there naturally evolved into the NBM Alumni jams and ultimately into this new effort: BluesForever.org.
What began as a gathering of passionate musicians became something larger — a mission-driven community dedicated to keeping the Blues tradition alive for current and future generations.

DAVE BEARDSLEY
Founder of STLBlues.net, STLBluesTALENT.net, and Co-Founder of the National Blues Museum, Dave Beardsley has spent decades promoting, documenting, and supporting Blues music and artists throughout St. Louis and beyond. His dedication to preserving Blues culture and history has helped connect musicians, fans, and venues while strengthening the regional Blues community.
DAVE SMITH
Dave Smith a performing musician for over fifty years, and founder of Bluetron Amplifiers, where he combined physics with philosophy to reinvent to sound of blues guitar to reshape the sound and spirit behind countless live performances and recorded music. He also earned and MBA from Harvard Business School and has decades of executive leadership experience in large companies.
Together, along with fellow musicians and supporters, they continue building a community where blues music remains vibrant, accessible, and alive. By creating spaces where experienced musicians can perform alongside emerging artists, we help ensure the tradition continues to evolve while staying connected to its roots.
