OUR MISSION
At BluesForever.org, our mission is to keep the Blues music flame burning brightly through a combination of performance, mentoring, education, and community involvement.
We believe the Blues is not only an important musical art form, but also a cultural legacy that must be shared directly with future generations. Through live performances, jam sessions, mentorship opportunities, and outreach, we aim to inspire musicians and audiences alike to appreciate the power, history, and emotion of the Blues.
American history, Civil rights history, geography, social studies….it’s all woven tightly into Blues music history, Which makes a Blues Highway presentation / Blues in the Schools, such an easy way to teach all of it to schoolchildren. At the same time, possibly sparking the next Willie Dixon or Etta James.
Whether it’s presenting the Blues Highway to a seniors community, bringing Blues in the Schools to students and classrooms, or reaching countries like Chile & Nigeria through ‘America’s Corners’, our presentations will ‘EDUTAIN’ all ages, using Blues music as a vital thread in the tapestry of American history!

The Blues has influenced nearly every form of modern music, and preserving it means keeping it alive where it belongs — on stage, in communities, and in people’s hearts.
As Willie Dixon said: “The Blues are the roots, and the other musics are the fruits.”
And those roots continue to grow through every performance, every lesson, and every new generation that discovers this timeless music.
